Square web crafting in The Forge refers to the strategic process of planning your forge attempts on a web-based interface (like our Calculator) before executing them in Roblox.
The Forge's crafting system is complex, involving hidden probability tables, multiplier math, and trait thresholds. "Square Web" tools visualize these mechanics, allowing you to experiment with thousands of ore combinations instantly to find the meta build without wasting a single Galaxite ore.
Core Crafting Mechanics
Ore Range & Distribution
You can use between 3 to 50 ores per attempt. The total count determines the probability of getting a specific Weapon Class (e.g., 36 ores favors Colossal Swords).
Trait Activation
An ore must make up ≥10% of the total mix to activate its trait. Higher percentages (20%, 30%) scale the trait's effectiveness (e.g., higher Burn damage).
Multiplier Math
The Average Multiplier of all selected ores determines the base stats (Damage/Health). Balancing high-multiplier ores with trait ores is key.
How to Craft in The Forge
Choose Your Target
Decide on Weapon or Armor. Check the Tier List to see which item class suits your playstyle (e.g., Colossal Sword for damage).
Select Your Ores
Pick up to 4 ore types. Ensure rare trait ores (like Fireite) constitute >10% of the total count. Use fillers like Iron to adjust ratios without breaking the bank.

Input your mix into our Crafting Calculator. Check the probability percentages. If your desired item has a low chance (e.g. < 20%), adjust the total ore count.
Execute In-Game
Once the web tool confirms a good probability and multiplier, replicate the exact mix in Roblox. Good luck with the minigames!
Advanced Crafting Tips
Multiplier Balance
Don't blindly chase the highest multiplier. A 4.0x weapon with powerful traits (like Explosion + Burn) often outperforms a 6.0x raw damage weapon. Balance is key.
Ore Count Strategy
Research the "Breakpoints". For example, 36 ores is often the sweet spot for Colossal Swords. Adding just 1 more ore might shift the probability to a different class entirely.
Resource Management
Save your Mythical ores (Demonite, Darkryte) for "guaranteed" high-probability recipes. Use common ores for testing and leveling up your forge mastery.
Trait Optimization
If you have 30 ores total, you need at least 3 ores of a specific type to activate its trait (10%). For max effect, aim for 9+ ores (30%).
